JUNE 13, 2011 - I am going to be a CORNHUSKER!!!!!

It's official --------- My real journey to college softball begins today with my verbal commitment to play softball for Coaches Revelle, Miller, and Sippel at the University of Nebraska!!!

9-1 in 2011 Memorial Tourney - Great start to the season!

Had a great weekend hitting and had tons of fun!!!

Had a good day today - we won all of our pool games. I beat myself up at the plate a bit (literally - I hit myself with like 4 foul tips), got cleated in the ribs, and popped some blood vessels in my hand when I slid into base.

Still hit good today with some doubles and more RBIs - awesome!!!

Cassidy hit a homerun! Way to go girl... Brooklin made an amazing catch in center field - gotta give it up for that one (SportsCenter anyone)!

Well, gotta get ready for games tomorrow.

Finally 2011 season is started!!!

Had a pretty good day today. Went 3/3 with 2 doubles in my first game. 2 went to the fence! The 2nd game was 2/3 with another double and all total I think it was 4 RBIs!!!

Gotta love scoring runs.

Weather didn't really like us, it rained and was cold all day!

Couple of TRIPLES and some DOUBLES! Only 1 K in 4 games....it was so much fun to be back out there after this long winter. (Even though we had to drive in ice to get there)

Everyone has to play HS Ball starting this next week, so I won't be able to play with my team now until Memorial Day tournament.

It's off to St. Joe tomorrow morning at 6:00 for a quick one day tournament indoor! Thanks for that one.

NCAA Softball Starts

Spring Break is coming up and I think I will go over to Columbia and watch some softball....Mizzou vs. Illinois & Illinois State!

Should be great softball and cold temps.

Off to Wichita for our 1st Pepper tournament of the 2011 Spring/Summer Season

Here we go again.....5:00 a.m. and headed out the door! So excited to get ready for softball season to start. We are going to Wichita, KS for the indoor tournament. Should be a good time. Good teams will be there and we will have a re-match of our 16A USSSA Championship match (which we won) last summer.

Back to Nebraska.....

Back to Nebraska. Watched practice and then headed to Omaha to see the Quakes. They are a great team and they like to hang out!

Illinois Visit - Really cool place.

What is it with the SNOW this year? Dad and I have had to travel everywhere and it is always snowing!!! No more...I am getting pretty good at waking up early and hitting the car. Not so sure about Dad - he's not as young as he used to be and some beauty rest may be in some order.

Illinois University - Great place with great coaches, everyone was so nice. I got a new sweatshirt and I love it. Grandma is pretty excited too.

Oklahoma State Camp

2nd time to camp at Oklahoma State.

Had a great time as usual - learned more and made some adjustments.

Ready for Spring ball to start so I can play ball outside again!

WISCONSIN CAMP

Dad didn't take pictures at the University.....I took some along the way! Lots of snow....

Had a great time at Wisconsin. I really like campus, it over looks the lake and that is nice.

We had to drive home through the snow storm!

It was awesome to see my Chicago family along the way. Love you Grandma Peaches

Heading out this weekend to visit Wisconsin this weekend (hopefully no more snow). Should be a great time with the family in Chicago with G-ma Peaches and Dad in Wisconsin. He can always find something to do!
